Alice in wonderland/american mcgees alice.?

I know this sounds abit crazy, but i want to paint a border in my room, starting at alice in wonderland, then slowly fading into american mcgees alice. any ideas on how to do this? i know hoe to paint it ect, i just wondered what i should paint to get it to fade realistically??
