Question about smoker's cough and other symptoms?

I have had a pretty bad Smoker's cough for a year or two now and I've found it harder to do strenuous activity without being out of breath. I'm definitely in shape though. I also have bad circulation. My hands and feet are always cold and my finger nails often turn blue. These are all symptoms that any regular smoker would have but I'm not a smoker! So I don't know why I have this! Any ideas of what this might be? It's been consistent for a while now and I don't want to waster my time with a doctor when it might be nothing. Thanks!
