Why am I turning grey and SOB?

Cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (CRT–D) serves the dual purpose of protecting patients with heart disease from sudden cardiac death from arrhythmia (lethal heart rhythms) while simultaneously improving the pumping action of the heart for patients with heart damage, heart failure. See your doctor. Have a room air oxygen saturation level or ABG tested with activity; see if you qualify for home oxygen. Check BNP level, CXR, D-dimer, EKG. Rule out worsening Heart Failure, Pulmonary Edema, Pulmonary Emboli, Pneumonia. Take all medications as prescribed....do not skip diuretic (water pills) doses because of inconvenience of needing restroom frequently. Weigh yourself daily and monitor leg swelling...communicate wt. gain and increase swelling to your doctor. Be compliant with diet restrictions. Maximum 2gm Sodium daily (2000mg Salt) check labels. Foods high in salt include: chips, pretzels, salted nuts, popcorn, processed meats; salami, bologna, ham, bacon, hot dogs, sausage, processed frozen foods, can soups, ketchup. Again, see your doctor, get things checked out. I wish you well.
