What is windows clipboard in vista?

not only in vista but it is also available since windows 3.1, windows 95, windows98, windows2000,millenium,windows home edition, win xp ,win vista and so on it wud be, cause when u cut or copy and object or data the first thing to keep that copied data is to store in some memory and that memory is called as clipboard viewer and that object remains untill u shutdown your pc or you copy another data or object.
