Would my company's budget be cut?

I work as a contractor for the NIH-NIDDK and hearing recent news of cuts in the domestic discretionary spending programs in 2011 by republicans has me on the edge of my seat in terms of allocations of funding towards my company. As a contractor, if the NIH receives no increase in grants or funding, will that trickle down to me and mean that my contract might not expand or renew?
