Blue and purple tv picture and white lines coming in from the right side. whats rong?

Our picture quality was great up until a few days ago. we got white lines coming in from the right side and then today the picture turned blue and purple. sorta like black and white but only its blue and purple... color sentry is on.. its an old tv ive messed around with all the picture quality options and still getting no positive response
